Photo Directory 2024: This year, to celebrate the 120th Anniversary of being a community of faith in Port Coquitlam, Trinity is planning to publish a pictorial directory...not the expensive, fancy and lengthy process of years past. Instead we’ll be using three talented photographers at hand: Dave, Judy and Syd.
On Sunday February 25: (If needed other dates will be added to have photos taken.) 1st - make any changes to your information on the paper copy of the directory. 2nd - get your photo (head & shoulders) taken by one of the designated photographers. You may choose to send your own (individual, couple, or family) digital photo via email to Zoe at the office. If so, please send a "head & shoulder" photo with the subject Directory 2024 and include your name(s).
UCW Muffins: It was a successful muffin sale last Sunday and the UCW made $128.00!
During Lent, Tues@2211: will be studying the book Act/Fast: Spiritual Practice for a Climate in Crisis. We will be accessing the course online at CHURCHx. We meet at 6 pm, share a small potluck meal, then engage in the learning materials. No purchase is necessary, but you may acquire the ebook at UCRD. We are usually done by 8 pm. Anyone who would like to join us is welcome.

Stand with Ukraine: February 24th marks two years since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Nearly 30,000 lives have been lost and millions displaced. As this sombre anniversary approaches, Canadian Christian leaders have joined voices, urging support for refugees and for peace. Their message? Pray, advocate for diplomacy, aid refugees, remember the invasion's impact, and hope for reconciliation. CLICK HERE to donate to Mission and Service and stand with Ukraine and those suffering through this ongoing crisis. Read the full story CLICK HERE.
February is Black History (or African Heritage) Month: Officially recognized in Canada since 1996, the UCC takes time to honour the contributions and struggles of people of African descent. Young Malagasy adventurer Mandimby Rakotondramboa, deeply connected to his Afro-descendant heritage, journeys north, trading the familiar shores of Madagascar for the snowy landscapes of Canada. Dive into his story in this week's Black History Month blog, and challenge your perceptions as he explores identity, adaptation, and the celebration of diversity. CLICK HERE.
