Tri-Cities Connect Day provides people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness access to a wide range of support services that they otherwise may have difficulty accessing on the street, all under one roof. Zoom Visit to Bethlehem: Can’t afford to visit Palestine? Have difficulty with jet lag? Here’s the perfect opportunity. With Advent we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This year we invite you to join us on a virtual/educational visit to Bethlehem. Yes – by zoom – 4 sessions – with participants doing some reading or video watching ahead of time and then talking together. Right now we are looking for expression of interest from people and then we will set the day of week and time of day through a doodle poll. PMRC Prayers: In our own Pacific Mountain Region of the United Church of Canada, we pray for Kimberley UC, Knox UC (Fernie, Parksville), Knox UC (Terrace, Vancouver), Korean UC, and the L’Arche Communities.
