Lenten Devotional - Day 28

Day 28 (Tuesday)  

“For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.  We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness.”

What are your gifts for ministry?
List at least one gift for each member of the Elders [Governance Team and Doers Team].
Which gifts are you lacking?
How do you experience membership in the body? Which member are you?
How have you tried to exercise someone else’s gifts (gifts that are not yours)?
How have you failed to trust the other members of the body?
What do you need to be able to trust the body more?  Ask for it.
