Memory from Betty M: Gladys deeply loved her family and cherished her church community. After many years serving Trinity UC as a member of the Rachel unit of the UC Women, Gladys joined the Friendship group. She recognized the importance of eating a meal together, enjoying a cup of tea and goodies, and sharing joys and struggles with dear friends.
Gladys was known for her positive attitude, her lovely sense of humour, and her inclusive hospitality. Considering the quote: "stay close to people who feel like sunshine" (Xan Oku)...Gladys was someone who felt like sunshine.
