Memories of Gloria (Maureen Adams): Gloria for many years was a dedicated supporter of Trinity's Thrist Shop. She came twice weekly for pricing and sorting and at a time when we had lost volunteers brought her friend Linda, thankfully still with us, and her sister Lynn, who moved back to Vancouver Island. Summer had Gloria bringing a fresh bounty of vegetables from her and Gord's garden for the volunteers to share. Over the years Gloria often spoke of her two adored grandsons Conner and Sam - she loved cooking for them and playing games with them.

Gloria was the leader of our UCW Rachel's group - she conducted well-planned and thoughtful meetings and managed to maintain order in our chatty group. She was the mastermind of our memorial catering service and organized the annual Bazaar fundraiser. In addition, Gloria made countless jars of delicious jams, jellies, and more. she also baked and donated many items to our popular Bake Table.

Gloria frequently ushered at our Sunday Service and to my knowledge, started up and designed our Annual Memorial Tree, where anyone attending a Sunday service might, for a small donation, purchase a white ball that had the name of their loved and lost family member attached.

Gloria had such a positive attitude and beautiful disposition, even when she was sick she was always concerned and caring about others. She was an upbeat, extremely thoughtful person, a perfect role model for us all and she is sorely missed!
