Memory from Trinity: Roger Max Eberhard was born in Vancouver and spent most of his life in the metro Vancouver area. He resided in Port Coquitlam for many years, most recently at Barclay Lodge. Roger was brilliant at very complex mathematics and enjoyed reading.
Some of our congregants would encounter Roger walking in the wider neighborhood as he would happily walk for hours. Roger was quiet-spoken yet would converse for long chats with people he knew well...especially his younger brother Paul.
Roger was part of Trinity's worshipping community. He definitely had a favourite pew. He was usually prompt but the last few months that he attended worship he would arrive "promptly" just before 11a.m. Perhaps Roger intentionally wanted to hear Rev. David's message and avoid the announcements! Hopefully Roger experienced acceptance and felt safe at Trinity.
Roger's brother Paul and niece Bethany miss him dearly.
