Letter to the Trinity Community;
On walking around the neighbourhood, I have to smile at all the spring flowers that are in bloom! Tulips, daffodils and hyacinths as well as the cherry blossoms, spring is here. Although Mother Nature keeps us remembering that winter has only just passed! Let's hope that the sunshine today stays with us or at least it doesn’t rain for a while!
Another step towards some kind of normality was taken this week with the lifting of the vaccine passport requirement. Your Governance team will be adjusting our protocols, so stay tuned. Meanwhile we all need to continue with the regular precautions like handwashing and mask-wearing as appropriate. Let’s hope we can have a good spring and a lovely summer.
It was great to see so many of you at the Congregational meeting last Sunday. It was the first step in a long process looking towards the future of Trinity. It’s exciting and a little scary all at the same time. We will keep you all informed as we proceed with the process.
As we enter Holy Week and look forward to Easter and all that it means to us as Christians, let us reflect on where we are in our lives and be grateful for all our blessings. Let us remember all those people who are dealing with conflict and disease at this time, and pray for a more peaceful world where people live in harmony.
As always, if you or anyone you know requires assistance please contact Syd Sawyer 604-941-4565, or Judi Carrroll 694-941-2002, and we will do,our best to help you.
Take care of yourselves, and those you love, and stay safe.
Many Holy Week blessings,
Your Governance Team
Wendy Squires, Pat McCann, Robert Nicolson, Rev, Cathcart, Syd Sawyer, and Judi Carroll
