TOWN HALL This Sunday: Sunday, February 26th after the worship time in the Fellowship Hall. We happy to say that a lunch will be served between the service and the meeting! Soup and buns and coffee (or tea)! Be sure to attend, as this second meeting will be a time for the team to hear your responses to the last presentation.
Truth and Reconciliation News: Upon hearing the preliminary research findings on deaths and unmarked graves at the Alberni residential institution, The Rt. Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne, Moderator of The United Church of Canada, said:
“The church will not look away from the truth that continues to be uncovered. The United Church of Canada continues our commitment to live into our Apologies, to be accountable, and to further the work of truth and reconciliation in concrete acts of justice and reparation.” CLICK HERE to read more of this initial response.
First United Lenten Calendar: This year’s theme for Spiritual Care at First United is truth-telling. As we enter the Season of Lent, we offer a calendar of prayer and contemplation based on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's

Doers Meeting: Monday, March 13 @ 6:30 pm in the Church Hall. Green is the lucky colour! Discipleship is seeing how our lives are a sacred calling and, out of our faith, connecting our gifts with the world’s needs. Come together at Trinity to be a part of the “Doing” and hear what each other is doing and wants to do. We will hear reports from Worship + Music, Governance, United Church Women, leaving time for Property, Christian Education, and Outreach interest groups to meet as well. Hope to see you - Joy Galea, Syd Sawyer and Irene MacIver.
