We are all Doers….we are the church together! The evaluations we expressed at the Doer’s May meeting (Governance/Doers current structure) will be reviewed and discussed. All are invited to join into a group of choice and help grow our community of faith.

Development Steering Team Announcement: On Sept 10 we learned that the Vancity Community Foundation -- through the Housing Accelerator Program -- is delighted to support us, Trinity United Church, by awarding a Feasibility Study grant for an amount of $15,000. The funds are intended to support a feasibility study for a new affordable housing project with a new worship space for 150 people and service hub. Vancity also indicated that Trinity would be welcome to apply for further funding once we've demonstrated a primary level of feasibility. A townhall meeting with our user groups and neighbours is being planned for October. More information to follow.
Thrift Sales: The sales keep chugging along, this Wed's total was on track for $824.00!
Next Sunday: Nina Parco will be selling chocolate mint girl guide cookies for $6 a box after service in October 8.
Labyrinth Walks at Inlet United Church: First Thursday of the month at The Springs. Come for a calming, contemplative walk along the indoor labyrinth pathway at Inlet United Church at The Springs. This practice is open to all members of the community who seek peace, and a time for silent, moving meditation.
