What does Trinity have to offer our neighbours? Amongst many attributes, our church has SPACE! Trinity United has once again signed up to offer much needed space to the WINTER SHELTER of the TriCities so that we can welcome guests who are unhoused.
Sandy Feng and Victoria Ehle, from the Progressive Housing Society, will manage the Winter Shelter. They will ensure there is full janitorial clean-up 7 days a week. It will be open NIGHTLY for guests at Trinity: 
  • for the months of December, March and April 
  • from 8:30 pm to 8:00 am (includes set up before and cleanup after)
The TriCities Homelessness and Housing Task group expressed its appreciation of Trinity agreeing to graciously serve the community.

The Winter Shelter does not require congregants or the wider community to volunteer, but they would definitely be welcomed.
