SHARE Food Bank

Trinity United is proud to host the SHARE Food Bank at our location, providing direct food support to supplement the diets of hundreds of individuals and families each week in the Tri-Cities. We believe people should have access to healthy and nutritious food where they live and in a dignified manner.

**FOOD BANK UPDATE**

During the COVID-19 crisis we are concerned about maintaining the SHARE Food Bank Service as well as protecting the health of service users, volunteers and staff. Please check our website  www.sharesociety.ca for the most recent information about the SHARE Food Bank as well as other SHARE services.

Please do not come to the Food Bank if you or a someone you are in regular contact with is or has been ill or has recently travelled outside of Canada.

SHARE Food Bank is open: 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Food Bank Distribution: Pre-packed hamper bags will be distributed on Wednesdays as follows:

• Clients whose last names start with a letter between “A” to “M” are asked to attend the distribution between 10am-11:30am Wednesday

• Clients whose last names start with a letter between “N” to “Z” are asked to attend the distribution between 11:30am-1:30pm Wednesday Everyone who needs help will be served.

There is no advantage in attending early or “lining up”. We are trying to limit the number of people on site at any given time, and to make the process as fast and efficient as possible.

Volunteering:

We are not taking new volunteers at this time. In order to maintain social distancing we need to limit the number of people we can have on our sites at one time. Thank you for your offers to help. We appreciate your kind offer and will reach out to the community if our situation changes.
