Email Scam Alert: Pacific Region has informed us of another email scam going around that impersonates United Church ministers and church members. The email asks people to buy gift cards, using convincing emails and names (pulled from the internet!). The United Church of Canada and Rev David Cathcart will never ask for secrecy or help in this manner. Never respond to these emails, just flag them as SPAM and delete them. Call the Regional office or our church office if you have concerns. Please be wary!

 

Doers' Meeting November 9: Thank you to all who attended Nov 9 Doers' “Date with Tea and Cookies”. This evening was a perfect way to come together, network, and communicate….. keeping Trinity United a thriving Church on the corner of Prairie and Shaughnessy in Port Coquitlam. W+M Meeting: The Team met as part of the Doers meeting November 9 and the following items were discussed;
Advent Event - plans are underway for this years “Around the Piano “ it will be held Sunday Dec 18 at 1 pm. We are hoping that a soup and roll lunch can be provided prior to the event. We are looking at replacing the cushions on the pews before Christmas - stay tuned. The new communion process was put into place for Nov 12, it will be reviewed at our next meeting. Still looking for volunteers to help out on the tech front with Sunday services, if this interests you please contact any member of the team. Next meeting Dec 7, please contact any Team member with questions, concerns, or suggestions.
