Worship on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 10:30 am: Sunday's service will be led by Rev David. CLICK HERE for the order of service. We have our YouTube livestream available, CLICK HERE to access it. Tuesdays@2211 News: This week, Tues@2211 is going on a field trip. We will meet EARLY at 5:30 pm, for dinner, then carpool to Douglas Collage to participate in "Trees for a Changing Landscape" with the Wondrous Tree Fellowship, Burke Mountain Naturalists, the City of Coquitlam and Nature Canada. Participants will receive a free tree, plants and compost.
4th Monday Prayer Time: We will be offering Prayer Time in the Sanctuary every 4th Monday at 7 pm in the Sanctuary going forward starting Monday, March 24th.
DOERS Meetings: Thanks to all who came out to the Doer's Meeting last Monday! We are ALL Doers.
Thrift News: $811.20! Now that's more like it. Did the few rays of sunshine make a difference? Or did the hailstorms make everyone run out for snowshovels and long novels in preparation for a very extended winter...we'll never know. (We recommend London by Edward Rutherford. Or Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. Both VERY long.)
Pacific Mountain United Church Women (UCW) “Laughing and Rejoicing”: You are invited to join us to be part of the Gathering and Annual General Meeting at: Cloverdale United Church 17575 58A Ave, Surrey. It will take place over two days: Friday, April 25 – 1:30 pm - 8:00 pm; Saturday, April 26 – 9:00 am - 1:30 pm. Enjoy this year's presenter: Janice Bannister, she combines her background as a Psychiatric Nurse and her years on comedy stage to give everyone take away ideas for using “Laughter: As A Wellness Tool”. Come and enjoy two days of sororal connections and friendship.

Lenten Meditation 2025: Is the chaos getting to you? Feeling overwhelmed by what's happening in the world? Sleeping poorly with anxiety about current affairs? Join us through Lent for a 20-minute meditation Tuesdays and Thursdays from Noon to 1 pm. Regulating our emotions, maintaining our sense of connection to the sacred, and making space for miracles is our best response. We will meet at noon in the sanctuary, eat our bag lunches as we visit, then sit for 20 minutes in silence. Drop in!
Advanced Planning Workshop: Como Lake United Church is hosting a 3-part workshop titled "Planning Ahead for Medical Crisis" on April 1st, 2025, at 1:00 PM PDT, focused on advanced care planning with Fraser Health.
Healing Pathways: The Tri-Cities Healing Pathway ministry offer in-person healing sessions at Inlet United on Monday afternoons. Sessions can be booked for 1:15 or 2:00. That time on the 4th Monday of each month, however, is set aside for a gathering of practitioners. To book a session contact 604-939-5513 or email healingpathway@inletunited.ca.
Wondrous Tree Fellowship: Join the free "Trees for a Changing Landscape" workshop in partnership with Burke Mountain Naturalists and TriCities Urban Forest Working Group. Tuesday, March 25 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm at Douglas College, 1250 Pinetree Way Coquitlam (Lecture Theatre A1470.) Includes presentations by Towards Tree Equity (Nancy Furness - PhD Plant Ecophysiology), Trees for a Changing Climate (James Bobick - Red Seal Horticulturist), Why Trees Fail (Derek Churchill - Red Seal Horticulturist) and Tree, plant, & compost giveaways.
