No Muffins: There will not be a muffin sale this Sunday due to it being a Long Weekend! We will back for the second Sunday in June for our final sale of the year before taking a break for July and August . We will return in the Fall. Thank you for all your support during the year.
Muffin Makers: Trinity Trunk Sale June 14, 9 - 1 pm. In previous years we have sold coffee and muffins while the sale is on. We are looking for a couple of people to look after this (more people would be best so everyone could have rest and browse the sale!!) If you are interested in helping us out or making some muffins/ cookies please let the organizing group know. (Syd Sawyer ,Wendy Squires or Judi Carroll.)
Rev David News: Our pastor is taking some well-deserved time off right now until May 20. We will be welcoming Lynda Brind-Dickson to our pulpit this Sunday in his absence. We wish him a time of deep rest and recovery.
DOERs Meeting: CLICK HERE for the Doers Meeting Notes from Monday, May 12. Find out what's up! Check the board in the hallway for the printed version of the notes.
Congregational Annual General Meeting: Sunday, May 25, after worship. Mark your calendars to attend the Trinity United AGM. This is a very important meeting where we can communicate with each other about our future as a congregation - where we're at and where we're headed. Be sure to attend. The Annual Report will be available the Friday before the meeting, May 23.
Golden Ears Gathering: Join us on June 8th at 1:00 pm at Golden Ears United Church for a potluck and a chance to connect with friends old and new. We’ll provide the coffee, tea, and desserts — you’re invited to bring savouries, sandwiches, or salads to share. Then, at 2:30 pm, we’ll gather to worship with United Church folks from coast to coast as we watch the livestream of the National Centennial Service from Newfoundland. Come for food, friendship, and faith as we mark this special milestone together.
Gifts with Vision: The United Church of Canada developed Gifts with Vision in response to requests to be able to give gifts to relatives, friends, and loved ones that directly support projects developed by the church's Mission and Service partners. CLICK HERE to see the wide array of helping gifts you can give to loved ones all year long. Both of you can be part of the solution!

Church Changes: Wooden Cross Korean Church is moving their office into our building (Room 7) on May 24th. This has meant reallocating various spaces around the church. The Choir Room is now being used for Thrift storage and has a lock on the door. The piano now resides in the Library and many of the books in the Library are finding new homes. Thanks to that team for all their work culling, shifting, and organizing. Hope for Freedom folks were also in the church lending a hand on Thursday - great work everyone!
Kiddies Korner: After 55 years at Trinity, Kiddies Korner Preschool is leaving us. Preschool amenities will disappear about June 30, 2025.
