Thrift News: - $805.06! Terrific!

Affirming News - It’s PRIDE Season: We are an accepting bunch here at Trinity. We welcome everyone into our church community. What is the big deal? Why become an Affirming church? There is a big difference between Acceptance and Affirming. Acceptance is the language of tolerating an inconvenience. Affirming is different. To be an Affirming church says: “Here is a place of safety; a space where those of us who are 2SLGBTQIA+, along with our family, friends and allies, can come together and feel free to be ourselves without having to explain or justify; without feeling just a bit on the outside.”

Special Camp Spirit News: Please consider sponsoring a camper's fee (or part of their fee) this summer! CLICK HERE to donate to the Camp Spirit Bursary Fund. Or simply mail a cheque to Camp Spirit, 6000 Sussex Ave, Burnaby BC, V5H 3C2. Note "Camp Spirit Bursary Fund" in the memo line.

Camp Spirit 2025: Camp Spirit returns to Trinity the week of July 14 to 18 and at other locations throughout BC. Registration is open for campers ages 6-11 and "Level Up" Youth ages 12-14. Join us as we share Sacred stories, crafts, games, science, and songs in a welcoming community. Our YouthCrew application is also open for youth currently in grades 8 - 11 who want to spend light-hearted time with children and work on leadership skills with our staff. CLICK HERE.

First United and Indigenous History Month: As the month of June passes, we continue to appreciate National Indigenous History Month, and we encourage you to learn about the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis cultures in our area and across Canada. The land that FIRST UNITED is on—known as K’emk’emeláy̓ (the place of many maples) in the Squamish language—has been cultivated and stewarded by the Xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples since time immemorial.
