Worship on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 10:30 am: Sunday's service will be led by Joy Galea and the UCW for their Centennial. To view the order of service, CLICK HERE. Prayer Vigils: Will resume this week on Monday, July 14th when Reverend David returns from his holidays. Come to connect with the divine and each other during this time of global crisis.
Prayer Study News: Monday Prayer Study is currently on hiatus. They will resume September 8th.
Office News: Zoe is currently on her summer leave and will be back August 26. Reverend David is on holiday until July 14th. As of June 30th, Shannon Moran is working in the Trinity office, and will be there Mondays through Thursdays.

Camp Spirit 2025: Camp Spirit returns to Trinity this week from July 14 to 18 and at other locations throughout BC. Join us as we share Sacred stories, crafts, games, science, and songs in a welcoming community. Thank you to all that donated bubble wrap for the Camp Spirit activities! We received plenty for the kids to use as craft materials next week and no longer require additional materials.
Affirming News: The City of Port Coquitlam has a PRIDE event on Sunday, July 20th, from 2-5pm at Leigh Square. This is an annual celebration of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and gender-diverse people. It is a family-friendly event that is a vibrant part of Pride Season, adding to the wide range of celebrations happening across Canada all summer long (June to September). Get ready for an afternoon filled with live music, crafts, delicious food, and engaging community displays. Mark it on your calendars!
Sprucing Up the Preschool: What are you doing on Tue, July 29 or on Thu, July 31 between 9-11am? Nothing on your calendar yet? Then join us for a little Work Party. We need a few helpers to make some minor repairs in the preschool room. This means patching random nail holes, painting over some scuffs and a bit of cleanup of the yard. This preschool space is available for meetings, and other gatherings. Booking is done through the office. The Work Party - complete with coffee/tea and donuts - will be a chance to make the rooms a bit more presentable. Everyone is welcome! If you are available to drop by for an hour or two, please let Judy Johnson know.
Free Filing Cabinet: We have a large metal filing cabinet that needs a new home! If you are interested in taking it off our hands, please contact the office for further details.
Camp Spirit at Como Lake United Church: Como Lake United Church is hosting their Camp Spirit week in Coquitlam next month and is seeking participants and volunteers! If you have availability from August 11-15, join them in their week of Fun and Faith! Registration is open for campers ages 6-11 and "Level Up" Youth ages 12-14. Ask about YouthCrew! The application is open for youth currently in grades 8 - 11 who want to spend light-hearted time with children and work on leadership skills with their staff. Car Wash Mega Fundraiser! Saturday, July 19th, is the day. From 10AM until the sponges run dry, bring your car to the Eagle Ridge United Church parking lot on Glen Drive, Coquitlam! By donation, all proceeds go directly to Imogen's Dance Fund. 11 year old Imogen is going to the Victoria Ballet Academy for 3 weeks on partial scholarship to attend the Professional Dance Intensive. Support this exciting opportunity by getting a clean car. Soul cleansing is complementary. Pirouettes available on request.
Palestine Rally: Pastoral Care team member Linda Lund is encouraging people to join the peaceful rallies being held in front of Coquitlam City Hall, Sundays at 3 pm. LaFarge/Douglas Skytrain. She says, "We carry signs and do some chanting and have some Palestinian music. It's a peaceful protest."
Healing Pathways: The Tri-Cities Healing Pathway ministry offer in-person healing sessions at Inlet United on Monday afternoons. Sessions can be booked for 1:15 or 2:00. That time on the 4th Monday of each month, however, is set aside for a gathering of practitioners. To book a session contact 604-939-5513 or email healingpathway@inletunited.ca.
PMRC Prayers: In our own Pacific Mountain Region of the United Church of Canada, we pray for Anspayaxw-Pierce Memorial UC (Kispiox), Augsburg/Mackenzie UC (Bella Coola), Becoming Church (New Westminster) CP, Bethany-Newton UC (Surrey), and Bowen Island UC.
