The week of April 20, 2025Announcements
Worship on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at 10:30 am: Sunday's service will be led by Rev David. We have our YouTube livestream available, CLICK HERE to access it. Once you are on the page, at the time of worship, click on the video that says "live now" and you will see the service.
Easter Sunday Services:
April 20 - Sunrise Service @ 8:30 am - Lions Park
April 20 - Easter Service @ 10:30 am - Trinity
Prayer Vigils: A silent space for prayer and contemplation will be made available Monday evenings at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Candles, some prayer books, and a few quiet prayer practices will be made available. There will be an opportunity to write prayers that will be used in Sunday morning services. (This Monday will be from 6:00 to 6:45 pm.)

Lenten Meditation 2025: Is the chaos getting to you? It's the last week to join Rev David for a 20-minute meditation Tuesdays and Thursdays from Noon to 1 pm. Regulating our emotions, maintaining our sense of connection to the sacred, and making space for miracles is our best response. Drop in!
Annual Reports: Yes, it is that time of year again. If you are responsible for a report for our Annual Report, please make plans to have it in to the office no later than Monday, May 1. (Email Zoë if you'd like a copy of last year's report to work from.)
Trinity Trunk Sale: It’s time to start thinking Spring Clean up! Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 9 am – 1 pm (same day as Poco City-wide Garage sale) Trinity Parking Lot, book your spot: ONLY $30. Tell everyone you know! It's an easy way to get your old or abandoned stuff out of the house and into the hands of people who can actually use it. Lots of pedestrian traffic due to the Citywide Garage Sale - the more the merrier. Let's fill the parking lot!! Sign up sheet on bulletin outside kitchen. More info to come! Camp Spirit 2025: Camp Spirit returns to Trinity the week of July 14 to 18 and at other locations throughout BC. Registration is open for campers ages 6-11 and "Level Up" Youth ages 12-14. Join us as we share Sacred stories, crafts, games, science, and songs in a welcoming community. Our YouthCrew application is also open for youth currently in grades 8 - 11 who want to spend light-hearted time with children and work on leadership skills with our staff. CLICK HERE.
Return-It: Don't forget to donate your recycled cans and bottles' value to the Church! Just use the Church phone number - 604-942-0022 - to direct the value of your returns to the church. So far we've raised $2,755.83 and saved 28,675 containers from the landfill.

First United News: 140th Birthday Celebration! In May 1885, First United held their first church service in the Hastings Mill schoolhouse. 140 years later, we're on the cusp of a new future, with a new building, to support dignity, belonging, and justice in the Downtown Eastside. Healing Pathways: The Tri-Cities Healing Pathway ministry offer in-person healing sessions at Inlet United on Monday afternoons. Sessions can be booked for 1:15 or 2:00. That time on the 4th Monday of each month, however, is set aside for a gathering of practitioners. To book a session contact 604-939-5513 or email healingpathway@inletunited.ca.
