Letter from our Governance TeamTo a church in social isolation Letter to the Trinity Congregation; Well, here we are in June and finally we have had a least one day of warm sunny weather! I hope you all enjoyed it. Let’s hope it’s not too long before we get some more days like Wednesday. June always seems to be a very busy month for those with kids and grandkids, the end of the school year, graduation for some, and windups for all manner of sports and other activities. Enjoy them all, they only happen once! You can rest in July!!! Talking of end of year activities we at Trinity are also coming to the end of our year and with that comes our Annual General Meeting. This year it will be on Sunday, June 26 combined with our Sunday service. Please save the date and plan to attend to keep up to date with all that is happening at Trinity. Again we are asking you to bring a bag lunch/snack so that hunger doesn’t overcome you! We are still looking for volunteers to assist in keeping the office open while Zoe is on vacation for July and some of August. Please if you are able to help, even for a short period of time, let Syd or Judi know (our phone numbers are below). We need help with reception and PowerPoint We welcome Rev. David back from his time away and hope he had a good rest. Thank you to everyone who has led us in worship while he was a way! We have a lot of talent at Trinity. A summer tradition started up again this week, the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market resumed on Thursday, a great place to get your fresh vegetables and lots of other goodies. Support your local businesses! As we have said before if we can be of any assistance to you or those you know please contact us at Syd Sawyer,604 941-4565, or Judi Carroll, 604 941-2002, and we will do our best to assist you. Take care of yourselves and those around you. Blessings, |

HELP!! We are in need of a volunteer replacement for our Office Administrator, Zoë, for 6 weeks starting the beginning of July, while she is on vacation. The position can be done by one person or easily divide into two areas of responsibility. First we need a receptionist, to answer phones, check mail, etc . He/she would need to be in the office twice a week and at other times the work can be done from home. Timewise we are looking at approximately 2-3 hours each day. Secondly we need a "tech" person to prepare slides/ PowerPoint for the Sunday service and create the Announcement sheet for Friday. This may take approximately 4-5 hours a week and can be done at church or from home. If you or anyone you know, including students, who would be interested and able to take on these responsibilities please contact Syd Sawyer, 604-941-4565, or Judi Carroll, 604-942-2002 and we can discuss the job description.
More from Worship & Music…:“Favourite Hymn Sing is Back". Beginning the Sunday, the "First-Sunday-of-the-Month" pre-service FAVOURITE HYMN SING is returning! Yes…it’s back! Please join the choir at 10:15 am on June 5th ….a golden opportunity to choose your own favourite hymn.
