Trinity United Church Port Coquitlam
Trinity News for the week of June 12, 2022
Letter from our Governance Team

Letter from our Governance Team

Hello Trinity Congregation,

Many past years we have had a birthday cake on Pentecost …. this week it dawned on a few of us that Trinity missed a good opportunity to restart “Coffee time” with a cake after the church service.

Another time, for sure!

Many squares and sandwiches have been served these past few weeks to the multiple memorial gatherings. Trinity’s serving ministry is back in high gear!

Trinity United Church’s annual general meeting is on June 26th. It’s amazing how the year has zipped along, reports of activities are handed in and we start looking forward to another year ahead!

We have so many things to celebrate while we review the year.

Fresh, moist air and longer daylight hours encourage gardens and lawns to grow. It seems creativity is also heightened as we can observe on the church lawn where an area has been mowed into creative shapes. Fun!

We can also celebrate our Pacific Mountain Regional Council meeting this weekend in Prince George, which is in-person and online. We send prayers and thoughts for safe journey, and a successful conference

Any questions, concerns or ideas can be shared with either Judi Carroll @ 604 941 2002 or Syd Sawyer @ 604 941 4565.

Blessings from Trinity Governance team,
Rev D Cathcart, Wendy Squires, Pat McCann, Robert Nicolson, Judi Carroll and Syd Sawyer
