Worship on Sunday, Feb 2, 2024 at 10:30 am: Sunday's service will be led by Rev David. The weather forecast is calling for snow overnight Saturday so be prepared for snowy conditions. You are welcome to watch the service on the livestream below if you are hesitant to go out in bad weather. CLICK HERE for the order of service.
We also have our YouTube livestream available to those at home. CLICK HERE to access it. Once you are on the page, at the time of worship, click on the video that says "live now" and you will start watching the service.
Lougheed Corridor Potluck: Trinity is invited to attend the first (hopefully of many) United Church potluck with our spiritual friends. Sat, Feb 8 at 10:30 am at Como Lake United. Bring a continental style breakfast food item to share. Como Lake will provide beverages, etc. A wonderful opportunity for inter-church fellowship, outside of Good Friday!

Fundraising Concert: Choral Connections is pleased to present United in Song 2025, Saturday, January 25 at 2 pm in the Trinity United Church Sanctuary. THAT'S TOMORROW! Adults $20, tickets available at the door, cash or cheque.
Mission & Service: Year end total for Mission & Service donation from Trinity - $14, 261.00!!! We set a goal of $10,000.00 for the 2024 year and have once again surpassed that target! Many thanks to all the faithful supporters of our United Church's Mission & Service goals. Special thanks to the UCW of Trinity for it’s ongoing support of Mission & Service. Trinity's Anniversary: Our 2024 project- $120.00 for 120 Years-to mark Trinity’s 120 years as a faith community in PoCo, has raised $1, 970.00 as of Dec 15, 2024. This may not yet be a final total. Thank You to all who supported this fundraising project. Monies raised are directed to Trinity’s General Fund.
UCC News: “You are my new hero,” writes The Right Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne to The Right Rev. Dr. Mariann Budde of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington this week. The Moderator thanked her for her courage, noting, “What you preached, and then speaking directly to the US president, was bold and prophetic. Healing Pathways: The Tri-Cities Healing Pathway Ministry Team, which includes practitioners from several local churches, is hosting a Healing Pathway Training Workshop at Inlet United Church on February 21st to 23rd. Registrations are coming in and we are asking for some help from congregation members. Some of the participants are coming from out of town and would appreciate a place to stay. Can you billet someone? Also could you make muffins, buns, or snacks to help with the breaks? Do you have an extra pillow or two? The needs are greater than our small group can provide. Coldest Night of the Year is back!: Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 22. You're invited to join First United for this year's Coldest Night of the Year! They'll be taking to the wintry streets again as a way to raise awareness and funds for our neighbours who are experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness in the Downtown Eastside.
Healing Pathways: The Tri-Cities Healing Pathway ministry offer in-person healing sessions at Inlet United on Monday afternoons. Sessions can be booked for 1:15 or 2:00. That time on the 4th Monday of each month, however, is set aside for a gathering of practitioners. To book a session contact 604-939-5513 or email healingpathway@inletunited.ca.
PMRC Prayers: In our own Pacific Mountain Region of the United Church of Canada, as the new year unfolds, we pray for the Pacific Mountain Regional Council, President The Rev. Dr. Simon LeSieur, Executive Minister Treena Duncan, executive council, staff, Youth Council and all serving the councils and subcouncils of our region.
