Unhoused News: From Rev David, "If you haven't met Street Dr Jill she is a fantastic resource for how to care for the unhoused. Here is a link to an interview by Jason D'Suza on All Points West. I've been following her on Instagram for weeks now and I'm so impressed. She's an advocate for good information, science, statistics, and best practices for effectively managing the intersection of crises we are navigating. She speaks with compassion, hope, and inspiration." CLICK HERE for video.
From Mary Karyula: "I would like to thank all of those who have sent cards, poems, hugs, and kind words of condolence, on the death of my daughter Jennifer. I would also like those who have let me ramble on about Jennifer. Thank you all for your prayers throughout this last year of her life. We as a family are still recovering and the grief is still very fresh. Your kind words and support are appreciated." ♥
Thrift News: In our defense, we were inside a sky river, $565.85.
Heartfelt Thank You: Tom Shaw who coordinates the Wednesday community kitchen from Trinity’s kitchen wanted to say thank you to the congregation for the use of the kitchen and its amenities - especially the heat, stove and all the hot water needed for cleaning and sanitizing the dishes. His team really appreciates our contribution to making these lunches happen.
UCC News: The United Church of Canada invites anyone connected to the life of the church to complete a short survey on "Toward 2035", the framework introduced in 2025 to guide our shared direction for the next decade. Rooted in our Call and Vision, "Toward 2035" invites us to imagine and shape the future together. Your responses will help us understand how "Toward 2035" is being received and what supports communities may need. There are no right or wrong answers—just your insight. CLICK HERE. Survey close date: March 31, 2026.

Video of Lynx playing in a giant box. CLICK HERE. Because we all deserve nice things. Rustic Acres Wildcat Rescue (RAWR) Sanctuary: We rescue and provide forever care to unreleasable wild cats, and wild cats who were illegally owned or seized would otherwise be euthanized. We also have a number of domestic cats who were discarded or have various disabilities. We never buy, breed, or sell animals. We are are a true, no-contact sanctuary whose mission is to educate the public that although these animals are beautiful (even adorable), they are not pets. We don't touch or pet them - we respect their wildness and let them live as true to their nature as possible. CLICK HERE for one more. |
